This partnership set the stage for Dixon’s exploration of material and form, a journey that would eventually lead to the creation of the Groove collection. In 2021, Dixon teamed up with HYDRO, the leading producer of aluminum, harnessing their expertise to bring his ambitious vision of durable, stylish outdoor furniture to life.
Central to the Groove collection are its distinctive art-deco-inspired ridges, which provide a striking visual identity while maintaining practicality. Constructed from lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum, these pieces are as robust as they are aesthetically pleasing, ideal for outdoor environments. The collection debuts with an impressive range of furniture including an oblong dining table, chairs, armchairs, and stools, marking Dixon’s initial foray into outdoor furniture.
