At the helm of this innovate project is Ryan Smith, 3form’s chief creative officer, who emphasized the emotional exploration involved in creating the collection. This analysis involved envisaging the environments each color could transform and the specific emotions they might evoke. The result is a new selection of four dynamic hues intertwined with the existing 250-color array. The full palette is inspired by five core emotional categories, offering designers versatile and expressive options.

Each of the ten curated colors is a pairing of complementary tones; vibrant, saturated shades are balanced with softer, muted counterparts. The Jewel color, a rich teal, paired with Buoyant, a calming green, epitomizes the rejuvenating touch nature can have. Pharaoh’s radiant gold and Lemon’s gentle yellow inject vitality and optimism, while Vermillion and Sunstone encourage creativity with their bold red-orange tones complemented by muted energy.

The collection also features purple shades that speak to sophistication—Winterberry, which evokes the richness of ripe fruit, partners with Teaberry for understated luxury. Two neutral hues, Velvety Tourmaline and airy Ivory, act as anchors the palette, adding depth and harmony to diverse environments. These nuanced combinations present designers with virtually limitless avenues for bespoke and expressive interior design projects.

3form has ensured that these colors are accessible across multiple applications by offering them in three signature materials. Varia panels, with a sandstone finish, suit large architectural features, while 3form Laminated Glass provides both Low-Iron and Clear-Float options ideal for dividers and decorative elements. Chroma, with a vellum finish, is particularly suited for backlit installations, adding a refined touch to practical elements like reception desks and shelves.

Smith and the 3form team have successfully crafted a collection poised to redefine how designers use color to curate mood-driven spaces. Overcoming the challenge of balancing robust and delicate shades, the 2025 Color Collection lays the groundwork for environments defined by emotion and elegance.
