Upon entering the loft, one is greeted by a predominantly white palette that serves as a backdrop for exploring texture and form. In the primary bedroom, the white brick walls provide a serene foundation that harmonizes with cozy wool chairs, while a ceiling embellished with intricate tin detailing adds a touch of luxury. A playful yet sophisticated light fixture ties these elements together, creating a serene retreat that offers both tranquility and sophistication. The living area carries this theme forward with plush materials like Mongolian wool pillows and a shag carpet, adding layers of tactile comfort and inviting relaxation.
With limited natural sunlight, the design team thoughtfully embraced white and cream tones to cultivate a bright, airy ambiance throughout the apartment. This palette not only enhances the loft’s openness but also serves as a canvas for carefully curated accents that infuse whimsy and personality. Sculptural details play a key role in this narrative, with pieces like a Seletti nose sculpture in the hallway and Ingo Maurer’s feathered light bulb chandeliers above the dining table, showcasing the clients’ love for humor and the unexpected.
