Isense Design has crafted a 155 sq-m skincare center for Cloud White in Beijing’s Chaoyang District. This innovative space perfectly balances scientific professionalism and organic nature, creating an atmosphere that is both professional and relaxing.
A Unique Approach to Design
The design strays from the conventional neutral palettes often seen in beauty spaces, opting instead for tranquil green and sky-blue hues. The bright green façade, featuring tall windows, invites transparency and welcomes passersby into the space. The open layout connects the waiting room, front desk, and till, with a corridor guiding visitors to the lab at the back.
Biophilia Meets Technology
Planters complement the nature-inspired color palette in the lobby area and along the corridor leading to the treatment rooms. Circular faux skylights provide gentle lighting, while rounded wall corners add a touch of softness. This thoughtful integration of biophilic design elements fosters a sense of calm and wellbeing.
Immersive Treatment Rooms
The treatment rooms present a distinct, immersive character. The head spa features black and white marble flooring, with half-black and half-white ceilings and walls. Small LED lights on the ceiling mimic a starry sky, creating a serene environment. The skin treatment rooms are bright and white, with oval-shaped ceilings and mirrors. Blue-green gradient glass mirrors the lobby and façade colors, while hidden aromatherapy units enhance the soothing atmosphere.
